Game of Thrones Trailer 2 #WinterIsHere on 7.16

HBO released this second trailer for Season 7 of Game of Thrones saying, it may be the first day of summer, but #WinterIsHere on 7.16. Watch the full trailer located at the end of the post.

We get a lot of footage which has inspired and/or fueled many theories about Season 7.  The soundtrack to the trailer is Ramin Djawadi’s eerie “Light of the Seven”.

We see the same footage of Littlefinger skulking about and telling someone (in a voiceover, possibly Sansa) not just to fight the south or the north, but to always be fighting in your mind. Sounds tiring to me.

In a voiceover Jon urges someone that they need to join together. Their families fought together against the common enemy for centuries and they need to do the same if they are going to survive.

The dragons get to fly freely over Dragonstone.

We see Tyrion a few times looking nervous.

Yara and Theon face some sort of battle at sea.

It seems like Theon barely makes it to shore. Could this be after the battle above and did Yara make it?

We definitely see the Lannister's and Dothraki in battle.

There is a really cool shot of Drogon and Dany flying over the Dothraki and possibly heading towards the Lannister army.

And we see a battlefield of fire, possibly the aftermath from Dany's dragons. Jaime rides across the field intent on reaching someone. He does not look happy.

Euron's fleet is sailing.

His ships are closing in on Kings Landing. Does Euron plan to fight Cersei or ask her to marry him and form an alliance? We know how she feels about marriage at this point. Good luck to Euron if that is his plan.

Bran and Meera make it to the wall.

And, it looks as though they get to Winterfell too. Somewhere along the line Bran gets a snazzy wheelchair. The big question is, who is this mystery man in the godswood at Winterfell with Bran? Is the old Three Eyed Raven still able to appear to him?

Bran may be controlling these ravens/crows and it looks like they are spying on the Night King and his army of White Walkers.

The Night King looks miffed about something or greatly interested.

Does Lord Beric Dondarrion have Lightbringer? (The mythical sword made and used by Azor Ahai). Or is he just able to light his sword on fire like Thoros of Myr always did in tournaments?

Jon is fighting White Walkers here and someone to his left has a flaming sword. Maybe the Brotherhood without Banners has joined him and that is Beric Dondarrion.

More White Walker footage.

Jon knocks someone out. Notice the fire in the background? Do Dany and her dragons make it north to help fight the White Walkers?

And is Jon somehow left behind fleeing on horseback?

Drogon comes close to someone to meet face to face.

And I mean really close.

At the end of the trailer Sansa has a voiceover, "When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the wolf dies, but the pack survives." Does this allude to Jon possibly getting left alone north of the Wall?

This trailer is jam-packed with all kinds of goodies making me even more excited for Season 7. Only 22 more days to go!
