GoT Season Premiere Episode Photos Released

HBO has given us all it's going to for Game of Thrones with the release of these Season 7 episode one pics. With the Los Angeles premiere of episode 1, "Dragonstone" tonight we could get a few comments, but now we have to wait the four more days until Sunday, July 16th.

Looks like Brienne is making Pod taking his training seriously. With the war against the White Walkers fast approaching, he'll need all the skills he can get.

I think we've seen a version of this picture before. Regardless, this scene takes place in episode 1 and it looks like Lady Lyanna Mormont is putting all those old men in their places again. Kick ass and take names girl!

And Lyanna Mormont isn't alone in the side-eye look department. Meera is giving someone the staredown too. And it looks like they make it to the Wall in episode 1.

This image confirms this theory in my eyes. The new Lord Commander, Dolorous Ed seems to be greeting someone at the Wall and it's not the Night King just yet.

Hopefully this artist gets some mention in the episode as it looks like he is responsible for Cersei's new map of Westeros. It's in a courtyard so I hope he's using warterproof paint! That would suck.

And where would Cersei be without her token goblet of wine? She beats Tyrion out as the family alcoholic for sure. With dragons and a hotter, younger queen coming after the kingdom you coup'd I guess that's enough to make anyone need liquid courage.

This is also a repeat image, but one of my favorites. I'm in love with the costume and it confirms that Dany lands at Dragonstone. She's finally back in Westeros!

She's also getting used to sitting on a throne by sitting on the one at her ancestral family home of Dragonstone. Don't worry girl, it's only a matter of time before you are sitting on that other one.

So, all in all it looks like episode 1 is going to be pretty cool. Only four more long days until the rest of us get to see this episode.
